About Bossa Nova
At Project Origin, we often describe flavour with colour, but our Brazilian Regional coffees are defined by rhythm and structure. Inspired by Bossa Nova music—rooted in Samba and fused with Jazz, yet softer and more refined—this coffee mirrors that same balance and intimacy.
Each Bossa Nova offering is selected from a single farm, delivering a regional profile while maintaining single-estate integrity. Farms include Santa Lucia, Santa Ines, Irmas Pereira, Fazenda IP, São Benedito, Fazenda Furnas, and Fazenda Sertão, with yellow bourbon as the chosen variety.
Harvested from June to August and available year-round, this coffee represents the premium potential of the Carmo de Minas region. Grown at 900–1300 masl with moderate temperatures and high rainfall, it showcases a sweet, balanced, and refined profile with medium body and notes of caramel, nut, orange, chocolate, red apple, and raisin—ideal as a single origin or a blend base.
