Fincas Mierisch spans nine farms in Nicaragua and three in Honduras, each with unique microclimates and terroir.
In Nicaragua (Matagalpa & Jinotega)
Farms include Limoncillo, Las Delicias, San Jose, Los Placeres, La Huella, Mama Mina, La Escondida, El Encanto, El Suspiro, Los Altos, and Laguna Verde.
In Honduras (Rio Blanco)
Farms include Cerro Azul, Santa Lucia, and Lalita.
Innovation & Specialty Coffee Development
The family pioneered the shift from commercial-grade to specialty coffees, using experimental processes such as anaerobic fermentation and cold processing, and cultivating unique varietals including Ethiosar, Javanica, Yellow Pacamara, and Geisha.
They are recognized for bright acidity, stone fruit sweetness, floral notes, and exceptional clarity.
