Finca Santa Monica, nestled in Colombia’s Quindío region, is a third-generation family estate led by Jairo Arcila.
With over 40 years of expertise, Jairo and his sons, Carlos and Felipe, co-founders of Cofinet, cultivate a diverse array of coffee varieties, including Pink Bourbon, Java, Papayo, and Gesha. Their commitment to innovation is evident in their advanced fermentation techniques, such as co-fermentation with peaches and wine yeast, which enhance the complexity and flavor profiles of their coffees.
Beyond coffee, the Arcila family fosters biodiversity by cultivating crops like mandarin, orange, plantain, and banana, contributing to the sustainability of their farming practices.
