About La Margarita
The beautiful and picturesque farm of La Margarita sits in a district that is very diverse at an agricultural level. Peru’s history for agriculture is rich and varied, and coffee farmers in the region are able to produce some outstanding flavour profiles.
La Margarita is managed by the Solorzano family, with different members taking care of specific lots. The family project, called La Margarita Coffee Reserve, has been operating since 2017 and continues to gain momentum, supporting not only the family but also many local coffee producers in the surrounding area.
Three key Solorzano producers include the brothers Marco, Neto, and Ivan, the third generation of Solorzano coffee producers. Each brother manages his own plot of land within the La Margarita farm, while also collaborating to represent the Ocobamba region through their coffees.
